Shortcodes

Signocore Toolkit has twelve shortcodes. Ten of them print your company details, contact block and social links, one prints payment logos, and one prints a link that reopens the cookie preferences. Place a shortcode in a Shortcode block, in the classic editor or in a widget, or in a theme template:

Important: The company shortcodes read your details from Signocore SEO, on Signocore SEO → Company and Signocore SEO → Social. They print nothing while Signocore SEO is not active, even if the details are still stored. [payment-methods] does not need Signocore SEO, but it needs WooCommerce, and [cookie-settings] needs only the cookie banner.

On a multilingual site, Signocore SEO holds the company details per language, and each language shows its own. A field you left empty in a language falls back to the primary language. See Structured data for how to fill in the details.

Attributes that switch something on or off accept only true or false, written in lowercase. Other values, such as yes, 1 or True, are not understood: depending on the attribute, they count as true or as false.

Company details

These shortcodes print one field each, as plain text. When the field is empty, they print nothing, except [company-name].

Prints the Phone Number from Signocore SEO as a link that starts a call on phones.

The link target is the number without spaces, parentheses and hyphens:

When the field is empty, the shortcode prints nothing.

Email

Prints the Email Address from Signocore SEO as a link that opens the visitor's email program.

Attribute	Default	What it does

text	The email address	The link text instead of the address. Basic HTML is allowed.
subject	None	A subject line that is filled in when the visitor's email program opens.

The second example prints:

When the address is shown as text, it is written as HTML character codes, which makes it harder for spam bots to collect. Visitors see the address as usual.

Note: When Email Address is empty, [email] shows the administration email address from Settings → General instead. Fill in the field if that address should not be public.

Contact block

Prints your address, email address, phone number and VAT number as one block.

Attribute	Default	What it does
icons	true	false leaves out the email and phone icons.
hide_company	true	false adds the company name as the first line.
highlight_company	true	Prints the company name in bold when it is shown. false prints it as normal text.
inline_address	true	Prints the address on one line, separated by commas. false puts each part on its own line.
hide_country	true	false adds the country after the zip code and city.
hide_vat	false	true leaves out the VAT line.

The block is built from these parts, top to bottom. Empty fields are skipped:

1. The company name, when hide_company="false".
2. The address: C/O Address, Address, Address Line 2, the zip code and city, and the country when hide_country="false". The zip code and city are only shown when both are filled in.
3. The email address, as with [email].
4. The phone number, as with [phone].
5. "VAT:" and the VAT number, as plain text in a <span class="vat">.

With the default attributes, the output looks like this (the email address is encoded in the real output):

Style the block with the .contact, .email, .phone and .vat classes in your theme's CSS.

Social links

[social-links]

Prints a link for each profile URL under Signocore SEO → Social → Social Profiles. The links open in a new tab. There are no attributes.

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Twitch, GitHub and Pinterest show an icon, with the network's name as the link title. Vimeo, TikTok, Snapchat, Stack Overflow, Skype and Steam have no icon, so their link shows the network's name as text, with the extra class sctk-social-text. When no profiles are filled in, the shortcode prints nothing.

Payment logos

Prints the payment logos selected under Payment Logos on Signocore Toolkit → Shop, Visa and Mastercard until you save that tab. There are no attributes. The same logos appear in the safe checkout box on product pages, see WooCommerce tweaks.

Each logo's alt text is the payment method's name followed by "logo", for example "Apple Pay logo".

The shortcode prints nothing while WooCommerce is not active, or when no logos are selected. Size the logos with the .payment-logos img selector in your theme's CSS.

Cookie settings link

Prints a link that opens the Cookie Preferences window, so visitors can change or withdraw their consent. Place it in your footer, especially if you turn off the floating preferences button. See Cookie consent for other ways to add such a link.

The shortcode prints nothing while Enable Cookie Consent is off on Signocore Toolkit → General. It does not need Signocore SEO or WooCommerce.
