Six sizes are generated automatically: 16px, 32px, 150px, 180px, 192px, and 512px, plus an ICO file.

Common questions

Does my image get uploaded anywhere?

No. Every size is rendered locally with the Canvas API. The image never leaves your browser, which is also why there is no upload limit.

Which files do I actually need?

Most sites only need favicon.ico plus the 32x32 PNG and the Apple touch icon. The Android and Windows tile sizes matter if visitors add your site to a home screen.

Do I need to edit any code?

Upload the downloaded files to your site root, then paste the generated HTML snippet into your page's <head>. That is the only edit required.
