I have been working on Signocore SEO for quite a while now, and there have been many updates along the way. But version 4 is different. This is not just an update with a couple of new features and some bug fixes. It is a fundamental upgrade of the entire plugin, and I am actually quite proud of the result.
In short: Signocore SEO has gone from being a solid SEO plugin to becoming your personal SEO assistant, handling most of the work for you.
AI that actually helps
Let’s start with the most obvious: the AI features have gotten a massive upgrade.
In previous versions, Signocore SEO could generate meta titles and descriptions. It was fine. It worked. But in version 4 I’ve cranked the ambition level up significantly.
Now you can generate all your SEO fields at once with a single click. Title, description, breadcrumb text, and focus keyword. It literally takes a few seconds, and it’s done. No need to sit and fine-tune every field manually unless you want to.

But it doesn’t stop there. Version 4 also introduces AI generation of content outlines, so you can get a structured starting point before you start writing. There’s AI-generated TL;DR summaries for your articles. And then there’s the feature I’m personally most excited about: AI-powered analysis of internal links.
Internal links without the headache
Internal links are one of those things everyone knows are important for SEO, but the majority don’t bother spending time on. I get it. It’s boring work to sit and find relevant pages to link to.
Signocore SEO 4 has a brand-new "Links" tab in the SEO meta box that analyzes your content and suggests relevant internal links. The AI ranks the suggestions by relevance, so you can quickly see which links make the most sense. You no longer have to guess or waste time searching.

More autopilot, less hassle
One of my main priorities with version 4 has been to reduce the number of decisions you have to make. SEO plugins tend to drown users in settings and options. It may give a sense of control, but in practice it just means people end up ignoring half the features.
I’ve removed a number of settings that were really just creating confusion. The nofollow option in the metabox? Gone. It was rarely used correctly anyway. The option to choose between different AI models and industries? Gone. The plugin now automatically selects the best settings based on your content.
The result is a cleaner user interface where you can focus on what actually matters: your content and your keywords.
Performance under the hood
It’s not just the user interface that has gotten an overhaul. Under the hood, a lot has happened, which you’ll hopefully never notice because it just works.
There is a new centralized cache management that ensures data is invalidated correctly when needed. Breadcrumb generation now fetches ancestor terms in batches instead of one-by-one, which makes a noticeable difference on pages with deep hierarchies. Sitemap generation has been optimized with batch queries, so large sites don’t stall.
And I have added strict types to all PHP files and improved type annotations across the codebase. It may sound nerdy, but it means fewer errors and more stable code in the long run.
A new SERP preview
A small, but nice detail: the SERP preview in the metabox now also shows the favicon and breadcrumbs, just like Google does in search results. It provides a more realistic picture of how your content will look in practice.

What I’ve removed
I mentioned it briefly before, but it deserves its own section. In version 4 I have deliberately removed features that didn’t pull their weight.
The custom llms.txt setting is gone. Instead, the plugin now automatically generates a sensible llms.txt based on your most popular posts across all post types. Less to configure, better results.
PriceRange, currenciesAccepted, and paymentAccepted have been removed from the organization schema. They were rarely filled out correctly and created more noise than value.
It’s not about removing functionality for the sake of removal. It’s about making the plugin sharper and more focused.
Security and stability
I have also spent time strengthening security. AJAX requests are now verified with check_ajax_referer instead of manual nonce handling. There’s a new escapeHtml() JavaScript helper for XSS prevention. And the redirect-import has improved validation.
It’s the kind of thing that doesn’t make headlines, but it matters when it counts.
Try it for yourself
If you’re already using Signocore SEO, you can update to version 4 right away. If you’ve considered trying the plugin, there’s no better time than now.
